Twitches is a 2000s American children's fantasy novel series by H. B. Gilmour and Randi Reisfeld with cover art and design by David Loew and Joyce White. The authors are published by Scholastic Press, who also publishes the British Harry Potter septet for J.K. Rowling and the Canadian Anne of Green Gables quartet for Lucy Maud Montgomery. The Disney Channel's television film adaptations for 2005 and 2007 were based on "The Power of Two" alone.

Alexandra Fielding is one of the main characters of the movie and book along with Camryn Barnes. Alex and Camryn were seperated at birth during the war against the good and the bad. Alex was adopted, and raised in the middle class, but she has her friend Lucinda who she lived with after Alex's adoptive mother died. She finds her sister Camryn were supposed to train for the arrival of the Darkness but instead, they start exploring more about each other. But can they stop the one who's behind everything and defeat the Darkness?
