Miranda Martine-DuBaer is the biological mother of Alex and Camryn, as well as the wife of Aaron DuBaer.

Appearance

Miranda is a very beautiful woman with short, curly black hair, brown eyes, and a fair complexion.

Personality

History

In the Novels

Following her husband's death, as well as her daughters' assumed deaths, Miranda lost all of her powers and left Coventry. Fourteen years later, Thantos informed her that they were alive, and she met them. After this, she returned to Coventry to reconnect with her homeland.

As the happily married wife of King Aaron of Coventry, Miranda is a beautiful and powerfully magical Queen. However, her kingdom was soon attacked by the ominous Darkness, and it was only through her and Aaron's combined powers that the Darkness was kept at bay. On the day of her daughters' birth, her husband was killed, and she believed her daughters died as well. After this, presumably as a gesture of goodwill and politics, she married Thantos, her brother-in-law, and even gave him back his lost strength.

Twenty-one years later, she learned the truth about her daughters being alive, and had been smuggled out of Coventry for their own protection. She also learned Thantos is the Darkness and is behind everything. Following his defeat, she celebrates with her newly met daughters.

It is revealed Aron is alive in the Shadowlands. However, Miranda believes Thantos is regaining power, and asks her daughters to perform a vanquishing spell at the eclipse to destroy everything in the Shadowlands. Alex disobeys, however, and accidentally brings Thantos back to Coventry. With her daughters' help, she brings back her husband, who defeats Thantos. In the end, she and Aron preside over Ileana and Karsh's wedding. In the deleted ending it is shown that Miranda has a twin sister, Minerva who is dark and evil.
